Per article today in Midland Free Press.
Seasonal permits $ 20.00 per foot versus $ 9.80 in 2012.
Over night $1.25 per foot.
Reason given to match Marina rates.
Question with the lowest water level since 1918 when records were kept
how many docks will be available.
At least 25% at Cedar Springs will be to shallow if you can even get near.
Other dockage location probably fair no better.
Will not buy permit until I know availability.
Bria...

Jim Thomas has given up on using the 15-foot sailboats he keeps propped against the dock behind his cottage. Recently, there was a fire at Bayport Yachting Centre in Midland Ontario. Two boats were destroyed but fortunately, no one was injured. It did, however, get Scott Cain, Manager at Bayport, thinking and he is now strongly recommending that boaters install smoke detectors on their boat. Even if they are not there, a fire caused by an electrical short would set it off thus alerting any neighbouring boaters who might be at the Marina. It is not unusual for boatersd to contact the marina office if...
